Tuition
Parents and the school share the responsibility for the cost of Catholic education. Parents will pay a reasonable amount of the per-pupil cost of education as established by the school on an annual basis. Specific information regarding tuition can be obtained at the school office.

If a student transfers to another school, tuition may be refunded on a prorated basis, however, no refunds will be issued for transfers made after April 1st. If a student transfers while tuition is still owed, student records will not be released until the outstanding tuition is paid or arrangements are made for such payment.

Financial Aid

Financial aid is available to help defray the cost of tuition.  The first level of financial aid is provided through funds that are made available through the Diocese of Greensburg.  The amount of financial aid that a student receives through these funds is largely determined by the financial need of his/her family.  Applications for this level of financial aid must be submitted on an annual basis.  All students are eligible for this financial aid, regardless of their faith.  Additional information can be obtained at the school.

The second level of financial aid is provided through funds that are made available through local fundraising activities.  The fundraising activities are coordinated through the school’s advisory council.

In addition to the financial aid that is described in the preceding paragraphs, several educational foundations have provided grants to assist families with the cost of tuition.  These grants are usually awarded based upon the financial need of the respective family.  In recent years, the Bravo Educational Foundation, the Bridge Educational Foundation, the Community Foundation of Fayette County, and the Community Foundation of Greene County have awarded grants to families with students enrolled at our school.

The Spc. Gregory Cox Memorial Scholarship is available to students who are enrolled in grades K-6.  This scholarship was established in memory of Gregory A. Cox, a graduate of All Saints Regional School and Geibel Catholic High School, by his family.  Spc. Cox  was killed while serving on active duty with the United States Army in ‘Operation Iraqi Freedom,’ on September 27, 2004.

TUITION REDUCTION OPPORTUNITIES

2008-2009

All Saints Regional School offers three different opportunities for you to reduce your child’s tuition.  The three opportunities are outlined below:

ALL SAINTS PARISH FESTIVAL

Families with children enrolled in preschool-4 through sixth grade can earn up to $300 in tuition credit for the 2008-2009 school year by working at the All Saints Church Festival.  This annual event will be held on the church grounds on Friday, August 29th – Sunday, August 31st.  Please contact the All Saints Parish Office at 724-583-7866 for more information about working at the festival.

REDSTONE CANDY SALES

Families can earn additional tuition credit by participating in the school’s Redstone Candy sales.  Orders for Redstone Candy are taken for the Christmas and Easter holidays.  Families receive forty percent (40%) of all their sales as tuition credit for the 2008-2009 school year.  If a family sells $300 worth of Christmas candy and $300 worth of Easter candy, their tuition credit is $240 ($600 x .40 = $240).

SCRIP PROGRAM

Families can earn tuition credit by participating in the school’s ‘scrip’ program.  In this program you sell nothing and you loose nothing.  You simply purchase and use ‘scrip’ cards (‘scrip’ cards are similar to gift cards or gift certificates) to make routine purchases at area department stores, discount stores, clothing stores, grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants, and other commercial venues.  The ‘scrip’ cards are purchased at the school office.  The school receives a discount of 2%-10% on the ‘scrip’ cards (the average discount is 4%).  The discount is credited to the tuition of the family who purchases the ‘scrip’ card.

An average family can receive hundreds of dollars in tuition credit by participating in the ‘scrip’ program.  To calculate the tuition credit you can receive by participating in this program, simply multiply your monthly expenditures for groceries, household products, clothing, gas, dining out, etc. by 4% (the average discount).  Then multiply your monthly total by 12 (months).  An average family will earn between $300-$400 in tuition credit for the school year.  You can earn this credit and you did not have to sell anything and you did not have to purchase anything except for items that are already apart of your normal living expenses.
