Reports on Student Progress
All Saints Regional School is committed to keeping parents informed about the academic progress of their children. Report cards, PowerSchool’s Parent Portal, deficiency report, and parent/teacher conferences are utilized in this effort.
Report Cards
Official reports of student progress (report cards) will be issued at the end of each nine week grading period. These reports are designed to provide parents with information about the degree to which their child mastered the objectives of each course of study.
PowerSchool’s Parent Portal
Through use of the PowerSchool Parent Portal, the link to PowerSchool can be found on the homepage of this Web site, parents can check on their child’s academic progress at anytime during the school year.
Deficiency Reports
During each nine week grading period, teachers will inform parents if their child’s academic performance falls below a satisfactory level. In fourth through sixth grade, satisfactory shall be the grade ‘C.’ In grades kindergarten through third grade, satisfactory shall be the grade ‘S.’
At a minimum, a report of this nature will be made at the end of the fifth week of each grading period.
Parent Conferences
Parent/teacher conferences shall be used in conjunction with the report card as a means of reporting and discussing student progress. The principal shall establish procedures for scheduling parent/teacher conferences. At least two formal parent/teacher conferences will be scheduled during each school year. Informal conferences can be scheduled upon the request of the parent or teacher.
